This Privacy Policy explains how Learning DNA (learningdna.com.tr), our mobile application (including Google Play), and related services (membership, learning assessments, AI modules, mentor/orb features, Telegram AI Teacher, etc.) collect, use, share, and protect your personal data. By using the Service, you acknowledge this Policy.

1. Data controller
Controller: CSC Teknoloji / LEARNING DNA AI (“Company”, “we”). Services are provided via www.learningdna.com.tr and the Learning DNA mobile app. Learning DNA EdTech is developed in the ADÜ Technopark ecosystem. Contact: privacy@learningdna.com.tr
2. Data we collect
Depending on features you use, we may process:
- Account & identity: email, phone, name, parent/student registration, school, subject/level preferences, membership tier (Gold / Gold+).
- Learning & assessment: Learning DNA answers/profile, personality inventory, cognitive sessions, synthesis results, exam readiness and daily-task records.
- AI interactions: Exam AI, AI Teacher/Tutor, DNA Mentor preferences and (when enabled) chat or voice check-in content; uploaded study materials.
- Study rhythm & schedule: 7×24 schedule, start/end study sessions, reminder preferences (on device and/or account).
- Optional companion orb: device pairing code and pairing time (an orb is not required for every student).
- Live mentor / teacher: request, booking and session metadata (and technical connection data when video is used).
- Technical & security: IP, device/browser info, session cookies, app version, crash/diagnostic logs, analytics events.
- Billing: membership subscriptions and invoice/profile data as required by law.
3. Mobile app permissions (Google Play)
The app may request permissions only when needed. Declining may disable related features:
- Internet: accounts, content and API communication.
- Notifications: study-time reminders and service alerts (with consent).
- Microphone (optional): voice DNA Mentor / check-in when enabled.
- Camera / storage (optional): live mentor, document or image upload.
- Bluetooth / nearby devices (optional, future): physical companion orb pairing.
4. Why we use data
We process data to:
- Create accounts, authenticate, manage membership and support.
- Build learning profiles, personalised tips and exam-readiness/rhythm features.
- Provide AI-supported education and mentoring experiences.
- Security, fraud prevention and legal duties.
- Product improvement, R&D and anonymised statistics.
- Send reminders/notifications with your permission.
5. AI and profiling
Learning style, personality and cognitive signals may be combined for personalised suggestions. AI features may send inputs to third-party AI infrastructure; avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive identifiers in prompts. AI outputs are not medical or clinical diagnoses.
6. Third parties
We may use:
- Hosting / cloud providers.
- AI API providers for analysis and content generation.
- Telegram (AI Teacher bot — only if you link it).
- Payment/invoicing providers or authorities when legally required.
7. Children
Learning DNA is educational; under-18 users are typically registered via a parent/student model. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 for direct marketing. Parents who create accounts for children consent to processing under this Policy. Family Policy constraints apply when the app is listed for families.
8. Retention, security and cookies
Data is kept while your account is active and as required by law; after deletion requests or account closure we delete or anonymise within a reasonable period (legal exceptions reserved). We apply technical and organisational safeguards. Cookies/local storage may be used for sessions and preferences.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including KVKK / similar frameworks), you may:
- Access and obtain information about processing.
- Request rectification, erasure or restriction.
- Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.
- Object and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
- Contact support or account settings for data requests.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date on this URL is authoritative for the current version.
